Worship Services and Activities

 Updated September 11, 2020

During the COVID crisis we will open indoor worship service with two morning services: 9:30 a.m. and 11:15 a.m. Between services, the high touch point areas will be sanitized. After the 11:15 a.m. service, in addition to the sanitization, we will also use a more intense fogging machine designed to kill germs and the virus on hard surfaces as well as cloth surfaces such as carpeting.

The 9:30 a.m. service is FACE MASK REQUIRED. If you attend this service, you are agreeing to wear a face mask.

The 11:15 a.m. service is FACE MASK REQUIRED. If you attend this service, you are agreeing to wear a face mask.

When selecting a pew, please ensure a minimum of six-foot distance between families and/or individuals. In order to do that, we need to spread out and either sit every other pew or alternate sitting close to the center aisle, then the next pew sit closer to the outer aisle.

We ask that you conduct a self-assessment of your health before service and if you have a 100.4 degree or higher temperature, or flu-like symptoms, we ask you to view the service in an alternative manner.

The doors will be locked until we are ready to permit people to enter. After service is over, Pastor will announce the release of the people in the pews one pew at a time similar to a wedding, starting at the back of the church. People will be instructed which doors to use to exit.

Communion will be offered the first Sunday of the month at all services using individual cup containing the wafer and juice or wine.

Alternative Manner to Worship:

  • Both 9:30 a.m. and 11:15 a.m. services will also be broadcasted on 99.9 FM that you can listen to while sitting in your parked car. On communion Sundays after the people in the church have left, Pastor asks those in the cars desiring communion to pull to the front row and he will bring communion to you.
  • The 9:30 a.m. service will be recorded and sometime later in the day, will be posted on YouTube. The link will be sent out via Constant Contact. Please call the office if you are not on the Constant Contact distribution list.

Sunday School will be held in the Fellowship Hall on Sunday mornings between 10:30 to 11:00.  Face masks will be required and social distancing observed.
